GENERAL EDUCATION COURSES


All students must have at a minimum of three credits in each of the areas arts (GA), humanities (GH), and social science (GS). At least one of these courses must also focus on Intercultural & International subject matter (GI). Always see your instructor for help in choosing these courses. An incorrect choice can result in additional credits being required for graduation.

Baccalaureate degree students

  1. All students should take at least three credits in each of the areas of GA, GS, and GH
  2. All student should try to take two courses each from the arts (GA) and humanities (GH). 
  3. One of your two courses in the social sciences (GS) must be ECON 002, 004, or 014.
  4. All students must have at least one course in either the arts (GA), humanities (GH), or social sciences (GS) that is a Intercultural & International (GI) course. For example, (GH)(GI), or (GA)(GI), or (GS)(GI).

Associate degree students

  1. All students should select only one course each in the arts (GA), humanities (GH), or social sciences (GS).
  2. All students must have at least one course in either the arts (GA), humanities (GH), or social sciences (GS) that is a Intercultural & International (GI) course. For example, (GH)(GI), or (GA)(GI), or (GS)(GI).
