From Interstate 81
Route 1:
- Take Exit 170B on I-81 to Rt. 309 North (do not take Rt. 309 Bus.)
approximately 6.5 miles to Hillside Road. (There is a green and white Penn
State Wilkes-Barre PennDOT road sign on right side of highway.) PennDOT has
installed a traffic light at this location. Turn left at traffic light onto
Hillside Road and follow blue Penn State signs to campus, approximately 6
miles. Hayfield House, Commons and Athletics and Recreation Buildings are at
the first entrance, and the Center for Technology, Science building and Regional Office
are at the second entrance. (See Campus Map)

Route 2:
- Take Exit 170B on I-81 to Rt. 309 North. Follow Rt. 309 North (do not
follow Rt. 309 Bus.) to Rt. 415 in center of Dallas near Orloski's gas
station and Dallas Center Shopping Mall. Follow Rt. 415 North (straight at
intersection) to Rt. 118 West. Follow Rt. 118 to Lehman, and turn left onto
Mountain View Dr. From Mountain View Drive turn left onto Old Rt.
115 (next stop sign). Drive approximately a
quarter of a mile to the campus which is on the right. The Center for Technology,
Science Building and
Regional Office are at the first entrance, and the Hayfield House, Commons
and Athletics and Recreation Buildings are at the
second entrance. (See Campus Map)
From Northeast Extension - Interstate 476
- Exit Northeast Extension using Exit 124 (Wilkes-Barre Interchange).
Turn left on Rt. 115 heading North (downgrade).
Follow Rt. 115 which merges directly into Rt. 309 at I-81. Follow directions
listed above in route 1 or 2, and proceed to campus.
From 118/Central and Western PA
- Take I-80 east to I-180 west. Proceed North
on I-180 to Rt. 405 (about 15 minutes). Turn right onto Rt. 405. At first light, turn left
heading towards Hughesville. In Hughesville, turn right at second light onto Rt.
118
east. Follow Rt. 118 east (approximate 45 minutes) to Old 115. (Look for small,
blue Penn State sign.) Turn right onto Old 115, and proceed approximately 1/2
mile. The campus is on the right. The Center for Technology is at the first entrance.\
