Concurrent Major in Surveying Engineering and Civil Engineering Announced

A concurrent major in Surveying Engineering and Civil Engineering has been created. Learn more about this option under our Academic Programs button.

NCEES will no longer allow certain calculators in examinations!

The NCEES has recently announced its plan to disallow certain calculators during their examinations starting with the April, 2004 exam. Included in the list of banned calculators is the HP48GX which has been the main calculator for surveyors. READ about the NCEES decision.

Keystone Precision/Trimble Navigation Systems donates RTK-GPS hardware and software to program.

Keystone Precision and Trimble Navigation Systems continue their generous support of the program and education of future surveyors with their donation of Trimble RTK-GPS equipment and software to the program for use in its instruction with students in the program. The RTK system is used in several courses to demonstrate mapping, stakeout, and control surveying with GPS. The program would like to express its sincere thanks for this generous support of the program.
